THE UPDATE CYCLE
If a check fails, I investigate before applying the update to your live store.
Illustrative workflow. Checks are tailored to your store.
A developer who understands
the business behind the store.
01 / THE SERVICE
A store is more than a collection of plugins. I look after the parts that keep customers moving from a product to a completed order.
WordPress, WooCommerce, themes, and plugins updated on a staging copy first. Anything unexpected gets a closer look.
Test orders and a review of key shopping pages help catch broken payment flows and layout changes before release.
Verified backups, uptime monitoring, and a record of every change. When something goes wrong, there’s a place to start.
02 / HOW IT WORKS
Before I touch your live store, we agree on what needs doing and how it will be handled.
Start with a conversationWe discuss what’s working, what’s frustrating, and how your store is set up. I confirm the scope and price before onboarding.
I check access, verify a backup, prepare staging, and establish your checkout test. Existing problems get their own plan.
One planned update cycle each month, checkout checks, ongoing monitoring, and a readable report. You know what changed and what comes next.

03 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK
I’ve spent 15 years building and maintaining websites, from custom WordPress themes to WooCommerce stores and ecommerce integrations.
My work spans WooCommerce and Shopify, ecommerce integrations, and automation across storefronts, product catalogs, and email marketing. I understand how one small website issue can turn into a much bigger day for the people running the business.
CartTend brings that experience to your store, with careful changes and a direct line to the person doing the work.
04 / SIMPLE, AFFORDABLE CARE
Routine work is designed to run through automation. I review updates and investigate exceptions, so you get careful maintenance at a lower monthly cost.
A one-time fee for a standard store: access checks, a verified backup restore, staging, monitoring, and your checkout test. Existing problems get a separate quote before work starts.
For one standard store using Stripe, WooPayments, or PayPal, with working checkout and a host that supports staging and automated updates. Page builders, custom checkouts, subscriptions, multilingual stores, and complex integrations need a separate assessment.
$99/ month
$199 one-time setup. First month + setup: $298.
USD. Month to month. Cancel before your next renewal.
Monthly care begins after onboarding is complete.
Support: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. US Central, excluding US federal holidays. Reply within one business day; resolution depends on the issue. After-hours response is not included.
Hosting, plugin licenses, content edits, custom development, separate repairs, migrations, and malware cleanup are quoted separately. No additional paid work without your approval.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
The plan focuses on standard stores and a repeatable maintenance process. Automation handles routine checks and reporting, while I review releases and investigate exceptions. The price covers defined maintenance work; additional repairs and development are quoted separately.
For a qualifying store, it covers access checks, verifying a backup restore, setting up staging, configuring monitoring, and establishing your checkout test. I confirm eligibility before you pay. If your store needs repairs or a migration first, you receive a separate quote. Monthly billing starts after onboarding is complete.
Yes. We first assess the backlog and any existing conflicts. Bringing an unsupported or broken setup to a stable baseline is separate work, quoted for your approval. The $99 plan begins once your store meets the standard intake requirements.
Your host may include backups, updates, and monitoring. I review what’s already covered and focus on your store’s application: plugin compatibility, checkout behavior, and tested changes. If your current setup already meets your needs, I’ll tell you.
No. Our first conversation and a check of public pages need no login. If we work together, you provide a separate account for the agreed work. Please don’t send passwords through this form or email.
Testing reduces risk, but no process catches every issue. Diagnosis and a safe rollback of updates I apply are included. If a permanent solution needs replacement software or custom development, I explain the options and quote any additional work before proceeding. Monitoring runs automatically; human response is during the published support hours.
Verified critical security updates affecting the supported software in your store are assessed outside the regular cycle. They still go through appropriate backup, staging, and checkout checks. This is not a promise of immediate or after-hours emergency response.
Yes. Tell me what’s happening and I’ll assess whether a focused repair, migration, or maintenance plan makes sense. One-time work, content changes, and new features are quoted separately; the monthly plan has no general development-hour allowance.
The plan runs month to month. Email me before your next renewal to cancel, with no cancellation fee. Care continues through the period you’ve paid for. The $199 setup fee is charged once, separately from the monthly plan.
A QUICK FIRST LOOK
A quick check of your public page can identify WooCommerce and visible software details. It does not test payments or verify what’s happening inside your store.
